DR. VIVEK SINGH TOMAR is PhD in Management from Amity University, Noida; MBA in Marketing from Prestige Institute of Management, Jiwaji University, Gwalior; PGDCA from MCRPV, Bhopal; and BSc [Hons.] in Computer Science from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. He is UGC NET qualified for lectureship in the area of Management.
He has 20 years of professional experience with 3 years in industry followed by 17 years of teaching full time and part time MBA students. His subject area interest includes Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Research, Data Analysis for Marketing Decisions, Strategic Management and Retail Management.
He holds virtuous international experience of teaching MBA students of Dubai and Singapore at International campuses and has also conducted lectures for the MBA students of UNIMORE Italy and Indiana University, Perdue University Fort Wayne USA. He conducted e-learning sessions with Govt. of India PAN African E-Network Project. His video lectures are very popular among the E-learning students on MOOC Platform. He was trainer of volunteers during XIX Commonwealth Games held in Delhi. He conducted training sessions in marketing for TATA Motors Sales and Workshop Managers and has taught Management courses to officers and PBORs under DGR, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India.
He has edited one book for Koget Publications, developed online content with NIIT Ltd. on their Tecknowhive network for Strategic Marketing and provided research support to various Govt. enterprises and top corporate brands. He has good number of Research Papers (Listed in SCOPUS, WOS, ABDC, EBSCO etc.) and Case Studies (The Case Centre) to his credit in reputed International/ National Journals. He has also presented number of papers in national and international conferences.
Prior to joining IMT CDL, he served as Asst. Professor at Amity Business School – Noida, ITM University, Gwalior and ICFAI National College.
