A two-day Cyber Security workshop was conducted to provide participants with both foundational knowledge and practical exposure to key security concepts. Day 1 focused on introducing cybersecurity, including threats, vulnerabilities, and defensive strategies essential for protecting digital systems. On Day 2, participants explored practical techniques such as footprinting and Google hacking, gaining insights into information gathering and its role in ethical hacking.
The session combined conceptual understanding with hands-on activities, enabling learners to apply techniques in real-world contexts. Basic malware awareness and safe, ethical practices were also emphasized throughout the workshop. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, making it highly interactive and engaging. Overall, the session successfully enhanced students’ awareness and skills in cybersecurity, preparing them for further exploration in the field.
