Campus Immersion – March 2026

Campus Immersion 2026

The Institute of Management Technology – Centre for Distance Learning (IMT CDL) Ghaziabad hosted its on-campus Campus Immersion programme for the incoming January 2026 cohort on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the IMT CDL campus. Running from 09:30 AM to 05:00 PM, the day-long event brought together management students to provide a holistic introduction to academic processes, dedicated student support services, personality profiling, and practical innovation workshops.

The immersion programme opened with an engaging ice-breaking session conducted by Dr. Nidhi Mathur, Area Chair – Human Resource, setting a lively and collaborative atmosphere among peers. This was followed by a formal welcome and institutional address delivered by Ms. Shilpi Rhituparth, introducing the students to the institution’s core ethos and distinguished faculty.

To prepare students for their academic roadmap:

  • Dr. Priti Sharma provided an in-depth orientation on the programme structure, outlining course flow and academic expectations.
  • Dr. Bharti Singh, Examination Controller, detailed the examination regulations, syllabus guidelines, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Dr. Ashok Sharma, Dean – Academics, addressed the cohort on the essential pillars of discipline, dedication, and effective time management required for balancing professional commitments with academic excellence.

A major highlight of the morning segment was the Psychometric Profiling session facilitated by Dr. Parikshit Joshi. The interactive exercise enabled students to assess their personality traits, identify professional strengths, and explore key areas for leadership growth.

The cohort then participated in a Networking Lunch, providing an open forum for students to interact directly with mentors, faculty members, and institutional staff.

The afternoon schedule featured an intensive, hands-on Design Thinking Workshop led by Dr. Ashok Sharma. Structured around practical business case studies, the workshop equipped participants with critical thinking frameworks, fostering creative problem-solving and an innovative mindset vital for today’s dynamic corporate environment.

The event concluded with highly positive feedback from the participants, who praised the structured blend of academic guidance, self-discovery, and peer networking. The Campus Immersion successfully laid a firm foundation for a collaborative, enriched learning journey at IMT CDL.
