The event on “Locus of Control” was conducted on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at IMT CDL, Ghaziabad, with the participation of 144 students. The session, led by Dr. Parikshit Joshi, Associate Professor – Human Resources, aimed to help students understand the psychological construct of Locus of Control—a major factor influencing behaviour, decision-making, and leadership orientation.
Through a structured psychometric assessment and engaging discussions, students explored whether their approach to challenges aligns with an internal or external control mindset. The session also connected these insights to emotional intelligence, decision-making, and personal accountability. The event featured the use of a validated psychometric tool, interactive group discussions, and actionable strategies to strengthen internal control and proactive leadership.
The session was a transformative experience that enhanced students’ self-awareness, leadership orientation, and resilience by encouraging them to take greater ownership of their actions and growth.
