IMT CDL hosted an engaging Workshop on Design Thinking on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at its campus, attracting enthusiastic participation from over 144 students. The session, conducted by Dr. Ashok Sharma, Dean of Academics and a distinguished marketing expert, offered participants an insightful understanding of Design Thinking a human-centred and iterative approach that drives creativity and innovation.
Dr. Sharma explained how design thinking stands apart from traditional problem-solving methods by emphasizing empathy, experimentation, and collaboration. He highlighted how this approach not only inspires innovation in products and services but also nurtures a creative mindset essential for leadership and adaptability in today’s dynamic environment.
The workshop encouraged participants to explore the role of empathy in understanding user needs and discussed strategies for fostering a design thinking culture within organizations. Through interactive discussions and real-world examples, students reflected on applying these principles to their professional and personal growth.
