Faculty Research Semnar (FRS) Series
To promote research and publication activities among academic fraternity of IMT CDL a series of Faculty Research Seminar was started in the month of October 2020. Subsequent to FRS 01/2020 held on 8th October 2020, the second in series FRS 02/2020 was organized on 5th November 2020 between 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, which was attended by all faculty members, Dean and CEO. During FRS 02/2020, Prof. Asif Zameer presented a concept paper on “Understanding the Evolution in the Concepts of Organized Retail in India” where he systematically explored the historic evolution of organized retailing in India and also explained the conceptual development through a chronological review of various studies conducted in India in the field of organized retail. The presentation was followed by discussion and reflections by the faculty members of different domains. CEO, Dr. Ravindra Kumar appreciated and encouraged the cross functional discussion on various functional aspects of the paper presented by Dr. Asif Zameer. He also emphasized that such discussion should culminate into the cross functional studies through mutual collaboration among faculty members. The FRS 02/2020 concluded with the nomination for next FRS in series and Dr. Ravindra Kumar voluntarily nominated for presentation in next FRS 03/2020 to be held on 3rd December 2020.
