The Programme
Materials and Supply Chain Management has become a driving force for betterment of the industrial economy. The materials and supply chain has two crucial functions, the physical function, concerned with production, storage, and transportation and the market mediation function, concerned with ensuring that the products reaching the market place match with customers' expectation. Effective execution of these functions necessitates the implementation of key processes such as a seamless manufacturing and logistics process, a dynamic new product development process and support and service process. Therefore, it's crucial to understand key customer service criteria, define global performance metrics, benchmark the supply chain to uncover best practices and use decision-support tools for optimal network design and management.
This programme trains professionals who can improve the organisation's profitability through effective management of materials and supply chain across the firm's value chain.
